Health , Travel Advisory for Singapore, Malaysia , Brunei and of course.. the culprit Indonesia

Thanks to the culprits in Sumatera Island Indonesia who are the producers of your palm oil, haze have hit Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei with the Pollution Standards Index to as high as 388 in Pasir Gudang, 1km North off Changi Airport Singapore and visibility of 150meters in some of the places.

At Zyraz Technology SG Network Operations Center and Monitoring Services here which is located in Sengkang off Punggol East Singapore suffered the same fate with visibility at best to 571 meters at line of sight.

That is how bad it is.. That we cannot even see Ikea from our office and as bad that the Nursing Home which is less than 500m away. We feel bad to the residents inside there.

As such, we have placed a STOP WORK ORDER on all our company activities and all operations of our company are based on over the web, phone as these can be done at home.

Some who has the luxury, have flown the coup and landed in Adelaide Australia.

We are sad that many culprits are burning more peat land.. and as such, we ask for a boycott of all products from Indonesia as what they are doing are an annual ritual to smog everyone out. Enough said.. just take care and drink loads of water ya!

Going on a tight budget.

Commuting costs are always getting costlier and one of the things we know is that taking the bus is always the cheapest option.

Or is it not??

In Malaysia, using the train is costly, but if you tweak your travel enough, the cost of taking a train from Bahau to Singapore using the Shuttle Rakyat is about RM12 (approx USD 4.00) compared to RM23 on the bus. We usually take that to our visits back to Kuala Pilah and the immigration is a breeze in Johor Baru where the Immigration Officers climb on the train to endorse your passes before you set off to Woodlands, Singapore.

It's Cheap and good...but NOT RELIABLE. Uncomfortable ..but it's still airconditioned.
